Honey, as we call her, is a sorrel leopard appy mare. She was born on 5-7-03 making her 8yrs old. She has been used as a trail horse, show horse and broodmare for the last 4 or 5yrs that we have had her. However, she has not been ridden in a year because of lack of time and being very busy with our young horses when I do have time. She was shown in walk trot classes for one season and did well, given another season she would have cleaned up at the shows. I know you are all going to have a fit about this but I cannot let you ride her at my house because I have not ridden her is so long. An intermediate or above rider should be able to take her home and jump on but I've never seen what she would do after she had time off of ridding. This is the first time she's ever sat since she was broke out at 3. Honey has had 3 babies for us out of 3 different stallions and she had one leopard (black) one blanketed (sorrel) and one solid (sorrel). All of which were BEAUTIFUL babies! She is NOT registered. HOWEVER... I have ALL of the paperwork to do it. I called Appaloosa horse club and they said since it had been several owners to contact the original breeder (which I did. Her info is on the regisration stuff.) and have them send a new transfer from there name straight into whom ever is registering her. The original owner said she had no issue sending out a new transfer report but I never got back to her with an address to send it to.
